The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean, and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful toiletries in the bathroom. The heating system worked perfectly and kept us warm throughout our stay. Even though we couldn't enjoy the garden due to the weather, it looked lovely. The owner was also very helpful and responsive. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this cottage to others.
There were a few minor drawbacks. The creaky floorboards made it a bit challenging to move around at night without waking everyone else.

Fireplace: We absolutely loved the cozy fireplace in the holiday home. It was like having our own little roaring dragon keeping us warm on those chilly evenings. So romantic!
Plastic sheets: The small bed had plastic sheets that were a bit uncomfortable.

This place was like a home away from home, with all the little extras. The owner clearly has a decorating obsession, but hey, at least it made the place feel cozy.
Oh, the horror! They didn't have a dishwasher!

The cottage had a cozy and warm atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. It was clear that the owner had put a lot of love and thought into the decoration and amenities provided. the extra touches, such as the advent calendar and toys for our son, made our stay even more enjoyable. the location was also great, with easy access to the main tourist attractions and cities.
The cottage was cluttered with excessive amounts of toys, glasses, and ornaments. This left little room for our own belongings and made it feel cramped.

Maddie, the host, made sure that everything was perfect for us. the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. the beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was great, and we especially loved the cozy lounge with the roaring log fire. Maddie even put up a stair gate for our daughter, which was a thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at La Campagna, which is only a short walk away. The views from the garden were amazing, and we hope to come back again in better weather to fully enjoy them. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

Oh, and who needs street names anyway? Figuring out the village was like playing a game of hide and seek.

The location was perfect for our visit to Longleat, and we were blown away by the cosy and comfortable cottage. The beds were super comfy, the shower was amazing, and everything we needed for our short stay was provided. Our daughter loved the toys and the stair gate was a nice touch. The lounge was a great place to relax by the roaring log fire and watch Netflix. We had a fantastic meal at La Campagna, just a couple of minutes walk away. Maddie, the host, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. The cottage felt like a home away from home, with every possible thing thought of. We were delighted with the cleanliness and beautiful decor. The open fire brought back nostalgic memories. The cottage was located in a quiet village, but still close to amenities if needed. We would definitely stay here again, and the only small suggestion would be a rail on the stairs for added safety. this was a mind-blowing cottage, deserving of a 5-star rating.
